Fernando Alonso is ready to go to IndyCar
The pilot of McLaren Fernando Alonso no longer exclude his retirement from Formula 1 at the end of the year. Previously, the Spaniard said that despite the difficulties of the last three seasons with McLaren-Honda, he is fully committed to trying to win a third title after 2017.But that was before he clearly enjoyed the experience of participation in the race Indy-500. So, when asked if he could switch to the Indycar series in 2018, Fernando said, "Why not I'm totally open to anything. I'd be lying if I said that I know what will happen in the next year.Mark Surer, ex-Formula 1 driver and now a commentator for German television Sky, said that the transition to the IndyCar is Alonso the best option.Mark Surer "In principle, for Fernando, there are only three ways. He remains at McLaren-Honda, or returns to Renault or spends a full season in IndyCar.On normal roads, he wins all of his opponents, and on the ovals, he has already shown his potential. Alonso wants to win races, and he is likely to do so in IndyCar".
