110 minutes to start: George Russell's comment

George Russell starts in Canada from pole and hopes for victory...

George Russell: "Right now I'm just cold, but other than that I'm in a good mood. It's great to see so many fans in the stands despite the weather, and let's hope they see an interesting race.

Before the race, Kimi and I had a conversation, but that's in the past now; we've settled everything. When we compete, emotions are, of course, running high, but right now we intend to secure a winning double for our team, although it won't be easy in these conditions.

McLaren is very fast on this track, and in China we saw that Ferrari was also capable of high speeds in cold weather at the start of the race, so we'll see how everything unfolds today.

On the Montreal track, I enjoy the middle sector the most; it's the most interesting to drive, but overall it's a truly wonderful circuit that requires maximum concentration, and you can't afford to make mistakes."
