Lawson tries not to pay attention to the rumors about Solov.

Nikola Tsolov is confidently conducting his debut season in Formula 2 – he already has six victories and leads the individual standings. There are rumors in the paddock that the Bulgarian driver is allegedly guaranteed a spot in Formula 1 for the next season, and he will replace Liam Lawson. In Silverstone, the New Zealand Racing Bulls driver was asked to comment on these rumors. In response, Liam stated that he does not pay attention to them. Liam Lawson: "To be honest, I haven't even thought about it. Obviously, the summer break usually becomes a period when everything is actively discussed and important decisions are made, and we still have a few races before that. So right now, I'm just focused on continuing to do what we've been doing so far. Recently, this approach has been working very well, and it would be great to go into the summer break having had a few more strong races. I haven't been in Formula 1 for that long, although long enough to see how quickly everything can turn and what conversations start to emerge. So the rumors about someone replacing someone else are not really something I think about."
