Arvid Lindblad had the best qualifying of his career.

      At Spa, Arvid Lindblad reached the qualifying final for the third consecutive time, where he achieved the best result of his career – eighth place. Thanks to a penalty for Lando Norris, the British Racing Bulls driver will start seventh.

      Liam Lawson qualified eleventh and noted that his car did not have all the updates that were on his teammate's car.

      Arvid Lindblad (8th): "A very positive Saturday. It's just incredible to drive a Formula 1 car on this amazing track. The team did a great job preparing the car for this weekend. The updates are working, the car is fast. I lost a bit of time in the final chicane, so I'm a little disappointed with my lap, but I'm happy that I had my best qualifying of the season. The team continues to progress, and I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who worked on the car's upgrades. We expect Lando and Isaac Hajar to make their way through the pack in the race, so we need to stay realistic. Nevertheless, we must make the most of any opportunity."

      Liam Lawson (11th): "I was a bit short on pace all weekend, which was quite expected given the car I had. However, I managed to put together a qualifying lap since the balance was fine, and I was happy with the car. But I still lacked a bit to make it to the final. That said, it's important to note that the team has already made huge progress this season, so thank you to everyone for their work. It's clear that the updates on Arvid's car are working well, which is encouraging, as they should be on my car next week. We have a tough race ahead, but this season we have a high race pace, so I hope we can demonstrate that again and fight at the front."
