      George Russell agrees with Toto Wolff that the Mercedes team cannot afford to relax in the second half of the season despite leading in both championship standings.

      I want to say that while there haven't been any significant downturns in the team's performance, during tough times our people simply maintain their focus and continue to work, striving to improve the car and enhance its efficiency. They are doing the same now, when the team is performing at a high level. Overall, everyone actually maintains the same mindset as when we were behind.

      But even now, when we are winning, we cannot relax, and rest assured – the fighting spirit will be maintained in the upcoming races. However, if the next set of technical innovations does not yield the desired effect, and Ferrari continues to intensively upgrade their car, or if for some reason any link in the chain fails, then all current successes could become history.

      During successful periods, one must not allow excessive complacency, just as one should not become too upset over failures."
