      En McLaren decidieron dejar sin consecuencias el choque entre Oscar Piastri y Lando Norris en el sprint del sábado del Gran Premio de Estados Unidos.

      Según Daily Mail Sport, la escudería realizó recientemente una investigación interna con la participación del director Andrea Stella y ambos pilotos. Como resultado se decidió no agravar las tensiones internas, no imponer sanciones a los pilotos y «empezar de cero».

      En los cinco Grandes Premios restantes de la temporada, en McLaren decidieron centrarse en impedir que Max Verstappen se adelante en la clasificación de pilotos.

      Una fuente del medio en McLaren declaró lo siguiente: «En el equipo se mantuvo una conversación muy constructiva en la que se decidió que lo mejor sería empezar de cero.
