      En Las Vegas le preguntaron a Lewis Hamilton por el comentario del presidente de Ferrari, que en San Pablo dijo que los pilotos deberían hablar menos, y luego la misma pregunta se la hicieron a su compañero Charles Leclerc…

      Charles Leclerc: «Conozco a John desde hace mucho tiempo. Tenemos una muy buena relación, llevamos muchos años trabajando juntos.

      Sé que John es una persona muy ambiciosa; él motiva a la gente a alcanzar el máximo rendimiento. Él ama a Ferrari, yo amo a Ferrari, todos amamos a Ferrari y tratamos de hacer todo lo posible en cualquier situación.

      No vi esa noticia. John, como siempre, me llamó después de la carrera para hablar; su mensaje fue positivo: “Sí, tenemos que trabajar mejor”. Y eso está claro para todos.

      En realidad estamos unidos, y haré absolutamente todo para devolver a Ferrari a la cima. Siempre lo he dicho en el pasado y siempre me he entregado al máximo. Intentaré trabajar aún mejor.

      Fue desagradable ceder tantos puntos a Mercedes en Brasil. Lo mejor que podemos hacer ahora es concentrarnos en cada carrera por separado.

      El circuito de Las Vegas no es el más adecuado para nuestro coche. Creo que aquí hay mucho que esperar de Mercedes, pero estaré encantado de equivocarme. Y haré todo lo posible para lograr buenos resultados».
