Bottas will get behind the wheel of a Mercedes at the Adelaide festival

We wrote about Valtteri Bottas' podium at the end of the RADL GRVL gravel bike race in Adelaide, and now it has become known about his participation in the Festival of Speed. A year ago Bottas competed in Adelaide driving the Adrian Newey-designed March/Leyton House CG891. Now the 10-time Grand Prix winner will take to the track behind the wheel of a DTM Mercedes 190E in the Touring Car Legends category, with the 35-year-old Finn joining other F1 luminaries taking part in the festival - 1996 World Champion Damon Hill, 1980 World Champion Alan Jones, race winner Thierry Boutsen, commentator David Croft and former Haas F1 boss Gunther Steiner.

It will be a busy weekend in early March for Valtteri - he will represent Finland in the Race of Champions in Sydney on Friday and Saturday, then head to Adelaide for the second day of the festival before flying to Melbourne for the start of the new season at Albert Park. The Adelaide Festival takes place on March 8 and 9.
