Komatsu: There will be no incidents between our riders

      Haas F1 manager Ayo Komatsu hopes that with a new pair of pilots - the experienced Esteban Ocon and rookie Oliver Berman - there will be no problems this year. Ayo Komatsu: "I hope we don't go back to the situation when we had Nikita and Mick, otherwise it will be a problem for the team. But I'm sure we won't repeat 2021. The team did a great job last year, we added to it and we have to take the next step this season. The situation in the team and the drivers are completely different now than in 2021. Esteban and Oliver are a strong pair of drivers, they both don't need to prove anything. I told Berman that I don't treat him as a newcomer, he is a promising driver who will gain experience together with our young engineers. Team discipline is very important. Before the start of the season we will once again remind the riders of our principles. I don't expect any clashes between them or any disruptions because of this. But that doesn't mean they won't fight hard. Kevin Magnussen is a tough driver, but last year we almost managed to avoid problems between him and Nico. The only exception was in Austria, but there we did not work perfectly on the pit stops. There we created a problem for ourselves, but we drew conclusions and it will not happen again. The rules of interaction between the racers for us are absolutely clear and obvious.
