
Zhou and Giovinazzi are Ferrari's reserve drivers
The Ferrari team has announced the signing of Guangyu Zhou to a reserve driver contract. He will share those duties with Antonio Giovinazzi in 2025. The Chinese driver has already worked with the Scuderia, having been a member of Ferrari's Racing Academy from 2015 to 2018. From 2022 to 2024 Guangyu Zhou drove for Alfa Romeo/Sauber, whose cars were powered by Ferrari power units. Antonio Giovinazzi has remained Ferrari's reserve driver since 2017 and will combine his Formula 1 duties with appearances for the Maranello-based team in the FIA WEC World Endurance Championship.
