      Flavio Briatore: "I would be happy to return to the French Grand Prix calendar, but not in Magny-Cours or Le Castellet, but in Paris.

      There is simply nothing in Magny-Cours, there is always traffic in Le Castellet. Formula 1 deserves to host the Grand Prix in Paris, but not in the city center, not under the Eiffel Tower, but there, it will be beautiful.

      Paris has all the facilities to accommodate sponsors, guests, staff and fans. This is not Le Castellet, and certainly not Magny-Cours, which cannot offer this. Everyone wants the French Grand Prix, and France misses Formula 1! A Grand Prix in Paris would be great."

      The idea of holding the French Grand Prix on the outskirts of Paris is not new – twenty years ago, a project to build a highway near Disneyland Paris was discussed, but it did not go beyond negotiations.
