Leclair: The team has the best atmosphere in all the years

Ferrari's failures had often been attributed to high pressure in the Italian team, but at the SF-25 presentation, Charles Leclair said that he had never worked as comfortably as under Frederic Vasseur, and the arrival of Loic Serre as technical director and Jerome D'Ambrosio as deputy head of the team further stabilized the situation.

Charles Leclair: "It's much easier for us to deal with difficult moments now, we deal with them better. I can say with confidence that the team has the best atmosphere since I've been driving for Ferrari.

I still avoid having too high expectations. I remember coming to the Scuderia in 2019 and being confident of success after the tests because everything went well, but after the first race I was disappointed and promised myself to avoid expectations in the future. It's difficult to judge competitiveness before the start of the season, because we don't know what progress Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes have made. The conclusions will have to wait. But from the point of view of mentality, we are at a very good level now, which I am very pleased with.

I like that Loic and Jerome are very similar to Wasser in terms of showing emotions. When you talk to Fred, Jerome, or Loic, you feel positive from everyone. This is very important in a large team. Not everyone at work talks to Fred, not everyone to Jerome, not everyone to Loic. But all three of them talk to a lot of people at Ferrari. They handle emotions very well, and in a team like Ferrari, where emotions can be extremely strong, it helps a lot."
