Summary of Bahrain test statistics

Bahrain has completed the three–day 2025 winter tests with the participation of ten teams and 20 riders - this time only the main drivers participated.

Once again, there were hitches on the track, but the teams traveled a longer distance than in 2024, when there were problems with the drainage well. This year, ten teams traveled 21085 km in all, in 2024 - 19954 km, and in 2023 – 21593 km.

However, it is impossible to determine the exact distance – not all laps were complete, and in the mornings during aerodynamic tests or when changing settings, riders often drove short laps from the exit to the entrance to the pit lane, but we assume that all laps were complete, although the actual distance was slightly less.

      The best test rounds

During the tests, the drivers received Pirelli slicks from all five compounds, but mostly used C3. The best time was shown on short series of laps with C3 and C4 tires.

Just like a year ago, Carlos Sainz turned out to be the fastest in the test results – in 2024 with 1:29.921 driving a Ferrari, and now with 1:29.348 driving a Williams.

And here the result is similar. Kevin Magnussen drove the most in Bahrain last year, and now it's Esteban Ocon. The new Haas F1 car is not fast, but it is very reliable. Lance Stroll drove the least.
