Hajjar wants to repeat Verstappen's success
Next week, Isaac Hajjar will make his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls. The young Frenchman is looking forward to a long and successful career like Max Verstappen's.
Isaac Hajjar: "I learned a lot from Max, working with him in the team as a backup driver. I've seen him work at the highest level, listened to his feedback – it's all just impressive.
I hope to repeat his achievements. I want it, and I'm confident in myself. I don't want to compete in Formula 1 just for the fact of competing in Formula 1. It's just that I'm not particularly interested in racing. I want to succeed."
Hajjar added that he was pleased with how the preparations for the season went: "I have been working with the team for about a year now, ever since I had my first training session in Formula 1. I know quite well how everything works here.
The tests went according to plan, and I evaluated the car. To be honest, I'm already used to everything in the team. From the point of view of preparation, there were no surprises."
