      Gabriel Bortoleto crashed his car during his debut race in Australia. At the FIA press conference in China, the Sauber driver said that the team still does not know exactly the reason that led to the crash - it could have been both problems with the brakes and the consequences of a slight contact with Nico Hulkenberg's car.

      Gabriel Bortoleto: "I had problems with the brakes throughout the race. I've been complaining about them on the radio since the first lap.

      I don't want to go into details, but I have another problem with the suspension. The team and I still haven't figured out exactly what led to my departure, but it's clear to us that I had a minor clash with Nico. It was a racing incident, a little touch in the third corner. We were driving side by side, and Nico's car started sliding a little bit, and he brushed my rear tire.

      This may have led to the flight, but the team does not yet have an exact answer. They are analyzing everything at the base to find the true reason and understand whether the car was broken, and this led to my U-turn, or whether I myself hit the curb."
