Zach Brown confessed that he doesn't like Christian Horner
Team leaders' quarrels usually remain behind the scenes, but in the latest season of Drive to Survive, the conflict between McLaren's Zach Brown and Red Bill's Christian Horner runs through ten episodes like a red thread.
The conflict went public in 2022, when Red Bull violated the cost cap, and Brown wrote an angry open letter accusing rivals of fraud. Later, Red Bull entered into an agreement with the FIA to admit the violation, and Brown said that the team and Horner simply "came up with excuses."
Then there was Brown's criticism of Horner's accusations of inappropriate behavior, comments on personnel issues, and Christian's response, calling the McLaren Racing executive a "jerk."
Zach Brown claims that his feud with Christian Horner is "sincere" and that he doesn't like how the boss "behaves". Red Bull.
Zach Brown: "It's a completely sincere feeling, and I don't see anything unusual here. I don't like the way he's behaving, and he certainly feels the same way about me.
I think it's even good for sports. You need bright characters, rivals. Sometimes it's a friendly, purely athletic rivalry, sometimes it's more intense. It's always been that way."
