The stewards did not apply sanctions to Leclair and Stroll.
The stewards of the Chinese Grand Prix did not punish Charles Leclair and Lance Stroll for violating the rules in Friday's qualifying for the sprint.
The Ferrari and Aston Martin racers committed the same violations in the second session – they drove too slowly on the track. Charles explained his actions by slowing down to let Lewis Hamilton pass, who was on a fast lap, and Lance slowed down to let Lando Norris pass.
Since Leclair and Stroll did not interfere with anyone by their actions, the stewards left their formal violations without consequences.
