Toto Wolff will miss the Japanese Grand Prix

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff will skip the Japanese Grand Prix, which will be held from April 4-6 in Suzuka. Toto told the press about this in Shanghai.

"The fact that I will miss the Japanese Grand Prix again is just a coincidence. This has nothing to do with jet lag," Wolff said.

Bradley Lord, the team's press officer, will replace Wolff as Mercedes' official representative this weekend. Toto has already missed the Japanese Grand Prix in 2023 due to knee surgery. He also planned to skip the Suzuka race last season, but changed his plans at the last moment and flew to Japan.
