F3: Tsolov topped the protocol on the first day of tests

      The three-day Formula 2 and Formula 3 tests started in Bahrain on Wednesday. The participants of the youth series took turns working on the track, and the Formula 3 teams completed the morning and afternoon sessions first.

      Nikola Tsolov led the minutes of both sessions. The Campos Racing driver completed the best lap of the day in 1:48.901 seconds. In the morning, the riders worked on short series of laps, and in the afternoon session they paid more attention to long series, and only in the final 45 minutes of the session they switched back to fast attempts.

      During the whole day, red flags appeared once. Four minutes before the end of the afternoon session, Alessandro Giusti stopped on the track due to technical problems. It was decided not to resume the session after that.
