F3: Marie Boy is the fastest on the second day of testing
The second day of Formula 3 testing ended at the Sahir circuit in Bahrain. The best time was shown by Campos Racing driver Marie Boy in the afternoon session – 1:48.640 seconds.
The drivers started the morning session with a short series of laps. Santiago Ramos set the benchmark first, and the same time remained the best for him during the session. In turn, the Van Amersfoort Racing driver's time was surpassed by Marie Boy, Tuukka Taponen and Louis Sharp, whose result of 1:48.703 seconds remained the best until the end of the session.
After the break, during which the Formula 2 racers held their morning session, work continued on the track. The racers started with long series of laps, and in the last hour switched to short ones. The pilots took turns at the top of the protocol, and ten minutes before the end of the session, the Fight set the final time to 1:48.640 seconds.
The day passed calmly and without red flags. The final day of testing will be held in Bahrain on Friday.
