Drugovic will hold his first training session in Bahrain

In Bahrain, Aston Martin reserve and test driver Felipe Drugovich will get behind the wheel of Fernando Alonso's car during the first free practice session.

This session will contribute to Felipe's total Formula 1 car mileage required for a super license – he has already driven over 9,100 km.

Felipe is very familiar with the track where he replaced the injured Lance Stroll during the 2023 winter tests.

Felipe Drugovich, reserve and test driver: "I'm happy to get back behind the wheel of Formula 1, especially at the beginning of the season. I trained on the simulator, although I know the track in Bahrain well. I am happy to contribute and gather the necessary information for the team. Thanks to the whole team for their continued support."

Andy Cowell, Team Principal: "We are delighted to give Felipe the opportunity to drive the AMR25 in Bahrain. He makes an invaluable contribution to our simulator program and provides us with valuable and in-depth feedback to help us develop the machine. I am sure he will do a great job in the first practice session and will contribute to our preparations for the race weekend."
