Marko envisions 'great potential' for Hadjar's future in F1.
"Hadjar is the season's unexpected standout"
Isack Hadjar is being hailed as a genuine future star by Red Bull advisor Dr. Helmut Marko. Liam Lawson began the season as Max Verstappen’s teammate in the main team, but faced significant challenges and was replaced by Racing Bulls' Yuki Tsunoda after just two races. Marko asserts that Tsunoda will definitely remain with the sister car for the remainder of 2025. He is even predicting that Tsunoda will score points this weekend in Bahrain. "He demonstrated his speed in Suzuka," Marko shared with Osterreich newspaper. "Now he just needs to reduce his mistakes." In the same response, Marko emphasized his admiration for the 20-year-old French-Algerian rookie Hadjar. "With Hadjar, we have exciting prospects ahead." The 81-year-old also stated to Sky Deutschland in Bahrain: "Hadjar is the surprise of the season. Despite having the fewest test kilometers in Formula 1 cars, he is still racing alongside (Kimi) Antonelli. He maintains his composure and consistently performs. He had a four-tenths advantage over Lawson during the practice session. He’s a truly significant talent for the future."
