Hulkenberg: In Jeddah, you have to take every chance
After four stages of the season, Sauber is in ninth place in the Constructors' Cup. Team drivers Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto plan to use every chance at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix to achieve a good result.
Jonathan Wheatley, Team Principal: "The team has left the Bahrain stage behind and is now looking forward to the race in Jeddah, which will complete the series of stages. As you know, Saudi Arabia has a difficult track, a real challenge for every team. We haven't been getting the results we were aiming for lately, but we remain focused and are going to take advantage of any opportunity that may arise this weekend.
Our priority is to get the most out of the C45 every time, ensure reliability and compete for the best possible result."
Nico Hulkenberg: "Jeddah has a fast and narrow track that does not forgive mistakes. It should suit our C45 car better than the Bahrain circuit. To be competitive in Saudi Arabia, we have to do everything right from the very beginning of the weekend. The challenge is to find the right settings and balance to be fast in each session.
It is necessary to maintain concentration, adapt to the constantly changing condition of the track due to the heat and use any opportunities that may arise."
Gabriel Bortoleto: "Jeddah has a fast and challenging track. I performed on it last year, so I know the configuration.
We are working hard to maximize everything we have already learned. I'm focused on continuing to progress, improving my own performances, and achieving a competitive result. My goal is to stay focused, progress and make the most of this weekend."
