Lando Norris: I won my first victory in Miami
Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris are optimistic about the Miami Grand Prix. The McLaren drivers take first and second places in the individual standings and are ready for an intense fight in the coming weekend.
Lando Norris: "It was great to relax after a busy series, but I'm glad to be back behind the wheel, especially in Miami. This is the track where I won my first Formula 1 race, so it's special for me. The fans create a great atmosphere, so I will be glad to see the colors of papaya in the stands.
Last week, I worked at the base with the team and prepared for the stage in Miami on the simulator. The sprint weekend means that we will compete for more points. We have another good weekend ahead of us - let's go!"
Oscar Piastri: "I'm happy to get back to work this weekend in Miami and will try to have another strong weekend before the European part of the season starts.
I like the city, the atmosphere, the people and the track itself, which I feel very positively about. There will be plenty of opportunities to keep up the pace over the sprint weekend."
Andrea Stella, Team Principal: "After a successful series, we are going to the United States for the Miami Grand Prix. This is a special race for us, because it was here that Lando won his first Formula 1 victory, which was a turning point in the fight for the title last year. This season, the level of competition is even higher, so we are going to Miami with the intention of maintaining the momentum and consolidating progress.
The fans always create an exciting atmosphere in Miami and provide incredible support to the team. We can't wait to get back on the track."
