Horner: This is great news for Max and Kelly!

      Christian Horner, the head of Red Bull Racing, commented on the main results after Friday's first and only practice session in Miami, but the conversation on Sky Sports began with a different topic.

      One of the main news of the weekend is the birth of Max Verstappen and Kelly Pique's daughter Lily, and here's what Horner said about it.:

      "This is great news for Max and Kelly and their families! When a man becomes a father, it is indeed a very important event, and Max now rightfully feels a sense of pride. Just look at the child's background, because the Verstappen and Pique families have seven Formula 1 championship titles!"

      According to the results of the training, Max showed the 3rd time, Yuki Tsunoda, his partner, the 8th, and the head of their team as a whole believes that the results are quite predictable: "I think the rivalry this weekend will be sharp again. It's hot in Miami, the machinery is under high loads, and besides, the curbs on this highway are very steep – they are too high for cars of this generation.

      The suspension on all the teams' cars is very rigid, and you can see that the riders have to attack the curbs in a very aggressive manner. Also, of course, it is necessary to take into account such a factor as the degradation of rubber, and on a track where it is quite possible to overtake. The weekend program includes a sprint, so there are a lot of points to play for, and anything can happen.

      Since we have a sprint on Saturday, Friday is in a frenzy, so the next morning we go to the start of the short race, after which we get the first opportunity to adjust the settings for the main qualifying weekend. We can say that after that, work returns to normal, and we begin to prepare for the Grand Prix.

      In general, you have to act a little differently on weekends like this, and everyone has already adapted to the difficulties associated with the sprint. But of course, the engineering team is having a hard time."

      Horner also praised the work of Yuki Tsunoda: "He is gradually getting used to the working methods of our team and, in my opinion, is doing quite well. Yuki shares his positive energy with the team, he is an interesting character, but at the same time he provides the engineers with quite useful information.

      This is Yuki's fifth season in Formula 1, he's done a lot of racing, understands how everything works here, and as far as I can see, he's not too interested in what Max is doing. Yuki is focused on his tasks, working with his engineer to set up the car, not trying to reproduce what is happening in the other half of the Red Bull garage. And this is a very correct approach!"
