Perez: I do not know what the future holds for me.

      After parting with Red Bull, Sergio Perez did not give up on the idea of continuing his career in Formula 1, but all vacancies in existing teams are occupied, only those projects that are currently in the formative stages remain.

      Sergio said last year that he had been negotiating with representatives of several teams, and then the number of potential employers was reduced to two – there was a more likely option with Cadillac and a less likely option with Alpine.

      In an interview with the Festival of Ideas, the Mexican racer again spoke about his desire to return if he receives a decent offer.

      Sergio Perez: "I do not know what the future holds for me. But I understand that I did not finish my career the way I would have liked, and as my country deserves, and this is very important to me.

      But I also understand that if we come back, it must be a very strong project that will motivate us all."
