We told you that Formula 3 racer Nicola Lacorte will miss the next stage of the youth series season in Austria. The Italian rider earned a total of 18 penalty points in Monaco and Barcelona and was disqualified for one stage.
In Monaco, Lacorte received seven points for provoking a collision and ignoring the black flag. In Spain, he again caused a collision twice, and was also twice punished for speeding behind a safety car.
Nicola Lacorte is part of the Alpine youth program, and the team released a statement promising to support the 18-year-old pilot and help him avoid similar incidents in the future.
