Marko: We have no chance of winning the Constructors' Championship.

      After the Spanish Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing dropped to fourth place in the Constructors' Cup, and the gap from the leading McLaren increased to 218 points. Helmut Marko admitted that the fight for the Constructors' Championship is already over for the Milton Keynes team.

      Helmut Marko: "After a series of difficult weekends, we have already completed a little more than a third of the season. Unfortunately, the interim results are not what we had hoped for. The biggest disappointment was that even after tightening the flexibility checks on the front wings, we are no closer to McLaren and are still three to four tenths behind. The team hoped to close the gap in Barcelona, but unfortunately, this did not happen.

      McLaren continues to lead, while behind them the fight has become even tighter. Mercedes and Ferrari have narrowed the gap, and the middle group of teams has also tightened up. Fortunately, both McLaren drivers take turns coming forward. Oscar Piastri is in the lead in one race, and Lando Norris is in the other. But there are still 15 stages of the season ahead.

      Nevertheless, Max Verstappen is 49 points behind the leader, and that's a lot. If we don't improve, our chances of winning the individual title will eventually be exhausted. We have already given up the fight for the Constructors' Championship – we no longer have a chance. Of course, this is also related to the results of our second rider, because Yuki Tsunoda is slowly gaining speed.

      The team is working tirelessly and will continue to make minor changes to the car, but nothing serious is planned. We've had some big upgrades in the past, like a new bottom and new side pontoons, and now we're talking about the details. We will continue to refine the car as long as there is a chance for the title in the individual competition. After that, all attention will be focused on the 2026 project."
