Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the calendar for 2026

      Formula 1 and the FIA have announced the calendar for the 2026 season, when there will be a new track, new teams, and the championship will switch to a new generation of cars.

      The calendar has been approved by the FIA World Motorsport Council; the season will start in Australia on March 6-8, consist of 24 stages, and the final will be held in Abu Dhabi on December 4-6.

      When compiling the calendar, the geographical location of the tracks was taken into account, including in 2026, the Canadian stage was moved to earlier dates and will be held in May after the race in Miami.

      Accordingly, then the European stage of the season will begin, and it will not be interrupted: it starts on June 5-7 in Monaco and ends with a new race in Madrid, which debuts on June 11-13. September. This stage is marked with an asterisk in the calendar, as the track is under construction and has yet to be certified by the FIA.

      Then the championship will return to the Asian tracks, which will host the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan and Singapore, followed by a series of races on the American continent. The season will end with two stages in the Middle East – Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
