Andrew Schowlin: Kimi will be fine
Mercedes chief race engineer Andrew Shovlin is confident that Kimi Antonelli will race at Silverstone without regard for the penalty for the incident at Spielberg...
Andrew Shovlin: "Kimi will be fine. He was upset after the DNF and embarrassed by the mistake he made, which caused both him and Max to retire from the race. He wasn't pretending it was someone else's fault. He acknowledged the mistake and received a penalty of three positions on the starting grid. But at Silverstone, he will have to forget about that and focus on working to qualify as high as possible, setting up the car for qualifying and the race.
He has already dealt with his mistake. It happens to everyone. Now he is completely focused on preparing for the British Grand Prix. Together with Bono and other engineers, he is getting ready for the upcoming race, and I am confident he will come back stronger."
