Hungary Grand Prix: Track Changes and DRS Zones
On the eve of the Hungarian Grand Prix, the FIA announced changes to the track and confirmed the locations of two DRS zones with a common detection point.
Compared to last year, new asphalt has been laid on the start-finish straight and the pit lane. On the exit of Turn 5, the grass strip has been replaced with gravel. New concrete blocks with mesh fencing have been installed on the left side at Turn 14.
As in previous years, Hungary features two DRS zones with a shared detection point located five meters before Turn 14.
The activation point for the first DRS zone is positioned forty meters after Turn 14. The activation point for the second zone is six meters after the first turn.
