Wolf: Horner's departure is akin to the extinction of the dinosaurs

Fired from Red Bull Racing, Christian Horner is a controversial figure, and former colleagues' opinions of him could be entirely opposite. We previously quoted McLaren Racing CEO Zak Brown saying that Formula 1 became better without Horner. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has a different opinion, as he has already begun to miss his former rival. Toto Wolff: "In a way, I miss Christian, because we fought each other for twelve years. He often behaved like a fool, and I openly told him so. You know, Horner was a contradictory team leader, but at the same time one of the main figures in our cast of characters. His career achievements and records on the track speak for themselves. In a way, Horner's departure is comparable to the disappearance of one of the old dinosaurs. There are few left among team leaders, so I feel somewhat lonely."
