Verstappen and Piqué purchased property in Portugal.

      Last weekend Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet were holidaying in Sardinia with their children, but, according to the London tabloid the Daily Mail, they had gone there from Portugal, where the couple purchased a plot of land in the resort area of Comporta in the southwest of the country.

      As the Daily Mail’s journalists suggest, Max and Kelly plan to build a house there, since they have visited that part of Portugal’s Atlantic coast many times before, a region famed for its beautiful beaches.

      Max’s private jet was spotted at the local airport, and he also spent some time playing golf with friends and relaxing at one of the area’s top resorts – UltraLuxe Pinheirinho Comporta.

      The paper has already contacted Verstappen’s representatives for comment, but no response has yet been received.
