Two new participants in the Red Bull program.
Swiss karting driver Chiara Battig has joined the Red Bull junior program and, with its support, will contest her first season in Formula 4 next year.
The 15-year-old successfully passed the selection in Estoril, where she sat behind the wheel of a Campos Racing Formula 4 car for the first time.
Helmut Marko, head of the program: "In Estoril Chiara performed very well; having sat in this car for the first time she immediately showed excellent speed, which allows us to expect a successful season in 2026."
Chiara Battig: "It is very important for me to get into the Red Bull program; this program has produced many strong drivers.
My main goal is to reach Formula 1 and become a world champion. Next year I plan to compete in Formula 4 and I am confident that I can succeed. I hope to inspire young karting drivers to follow the same path I did."
Another member of the program is the more experienced Mattia Colnagi, who will compete in Formula 3 for MP Motorsport in 2026.
