Before the start of the Italian Grand Prix, the FIA confirmed power unit changes on the cars of Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar.
The Alpine driver received a new internal combustion engine, a new turbocharger, new MGU-H and MGU-K motor-generators and a new exhaust system.
On the Racing Bulls driver's car the internal combustion engine, turbocharger, MGU-H and MGU-K motor-generators, energy store, control electronics unit and exhaust system were replaced.
Parc fermé rules were breached to carry out the changes, so Pierre Gasly and Isack Hadjar will start from the pit lane.
