F3: Freddie Slater signed a contract with Trident
The Trident team, competing in Formula 3, has announced the name of its first driver for the 2026 season. A contract has been signed with 17-year-old British driver Freddie Slater.
Last season Slater contested two rounds in Formula 3 with AIX Racing — in Bahrain and Spa. Freddie’s best result was second place in the Saturday sprint at the Sakhir circuit.
Freddie Slater: "I am very excited to begin a new chapter with a team that is new to me. In recent years Trident has enjoyed huge success, so I am very grateful for the opportunity to join them. I hope we have a good season together."
