Sauber are ready for a challenging round in Singapore.

At Sauber they are looking forward to the Singapore Grand Prix with interest and hope to fight for points…

Jonathan Whitley, team principal: “The Singapore round is demanding for the whole team. On a street circuit driving precision is crucial; in Singapore it’s hot and very humid — a real test of endurance. In recent rounds, including Baku, we saw that in the battle among the midfield teams the car is quite competitive, and we’ll try to take every opportunity to score points. We still have a lot to do this season; everyone at the track and at the factory wants to deliver seven successful remaining races.”

Nico Hülkenberg: “There’s something unique about racing under Singapore’s night lights, with the city surrounding you on all sides. This circuit challenges you; it’s lined with barriers and leaves no room for error, requiring full concentration in the corners. The humidity is another factor to consider, but we’re ready for those conditions. After a tough weekend in Baku I’m looking forward to the chance to fight in the incredibly tight midfield.”

Gabriel Bortoleto: “I’m looking forward to Singapore. It’s a completely new track for me, and although I practised it on the simulator, it will be interesting to experience it in person. Night racing, the walls, the heat and the humidity — it’s a serious challenge, but it’s precisely these factors that make the race so interesting. I’d like to get up to speed quickly, find my rhythm and make the most of every opportunity this weekend.”
