Williams reports a $67 million loss despite a resurgence.

"We are clearly the most improved midfield team."

Williams has disclosed another significant annual loss, even as the historic team celebrates advancements both on and off the track. Financial documents indicate a post-tax deficit of $67.5 million for 2024—the fifth consecutive year in the negative—bringing total losses since 2020 to over $285 million.

However, revenue experienced a notable increase of $67.6 million, reaching $243.2 million, although rising administrative costs of $238.3 million left the final figures unchanged. The team also improved its financial position by securing over $747 million in new capital late last year, enhancing liquidity with $25 million in cash on hand.

Williams stated that the outcome was "in line with expectations and the Group's strategy to continue investing in all areas of the business to enhance both on-track and commercial performance in pursuit of success in the medium and long-term."

Despite the financial challenges, the team is currently fifth in the standings after Carlos Sainz’s recent podium finish, which Alex Albon described as validation for their rebuilding efforts. "It’s more just a validation—to Grove and to everyone that we’re on the rise," he noted. "I believe we are the most improved midfield team by far.

"Every year we’ve made significant progress, and this year is clearly the most substantial leap in the four years I’ve been part of the team." Albon attributed this turnaround to the leadership of James Vowles. "When I first joined, there was a sense of acceptance of being at the bottom—it was almost expected that ’this is where we belong.’ There has been a tremendous shift in openness and a desire to improve and become a leading team.

"Much of that is thanks to James and the key individuals within the team." The Thai-British driver acknowledged that even he did not foresee this level of progress. "At the beginning of 2025, I would never have predicted that we would secure a podium—and do so almost on pace as well. What excites me is that we’re only 60-70% into our journey, possibly even less, and yet we can achieve a podium at this stage. It makes me even more confident that we can excel further."
