Ocon showed off his Mansory Lamborghini Revuelto.
Esteban Ocon shared several photos of his new car on social media — a unique version of the Lamborghini Revuelto, upgraded by the German tuning house Mansory.
The Haas F1 driver accompanied the shots with a very short comment of just two words: "First ride," but his new acquisition deserves a more detailed account.
Mansory works on tuning cars that really don't need it, since they are in themselves genuine works of engineering and design, like Bugatti, Bentley or Rolls-Royce. The same can be said of the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s new model, production of which began last year.
These cars are equipped with hybrid powertrains, and their 6.5‑liter V12 alone delivers around 825 hp, plus there is the electric component, so total output exceeds 1,000 hp. In short, a perfectly suitable car for a Formula 1 driver.
For Mansory this is the first experience of such a collaboration, which the company proudly announced on its website back in September. During the season's final Grand Prix Esteban visited Mansory’s flagship showroom in Dubai, gifting one of his racing helmets, and that helmet already bears the company's logo. And now the French driver has received the finished car, modified by the tuning specialists to his personal preferences.
The first thing that catches the eye is the striking two-tone paint: red elements stand out against a black background. Of course there are also particularities in the interior trim of the two-door coupe, but Mansory has only promised to share that information later. There are no photos of Ocon's car interior on the company's site yet, only an inscription that can be read as: "To be continued."
It is worth adding one more point: if one can even talk about a sort of "base" price for such a Lambo, it is about €600,000. In the Mansory version the car already costs roughly twice as much.
