      According to several sources, the Audi team will trial its new car on the Barcelona circuit as early as Friday, during a filming day permitted under the regulations. If other teams do not hold their filming day beforehand — and so far none have announced they will — Audi will be the first team this season to try its car on a real circuit. This is only an initial shakedown: speed and power of the power unit will be limited, but the data gathered on track will greatly help the team prepare for the first official tests, which will take place behind closed doors at the same Spanish circuit from January 26 to 30.
