The new Ferrari was named… SF-26
Ferrari usually tries to announce the name of a new car as late as possible, preferably to the applause of guests and the press at the launch, but in 2026 the team simply published a post on social media. By recent tradition, the car's name uses the abbreviation SF (for Scuderia Ferrari) followed by the last two digits of the year, so the new car received the designation SF-26. The last time the car was named differently was in 2022, when it was called SF-75 in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Italian company's first car. The presentation of the SF-26 will take place on January 23.
