Peres: Former natural sensations are returning

In Suzuka, Sergio Perez was reminded that during the previous race in Shanghai, there was contact between the Cadillac F1 cars, after which the Mexican had to apologize to Valtteri Bottas. However, Sergio made it clear that the team does not intend to introduce any special rules limiting the freedom of teammates to compete against each other.

Sergio Perez: "Everything is fine, we immediately left that incident in the past, especially since overall that day went well for the team, as both Cadillac cars finished the race. Now we need to build on that, move forward, and strive for progress.

The previous weekend was challenging in terms of mileage, especially for me (due to technical issues, Perez completed only 13 laps in practice and did not participate in the sprint qualifying at all), but then we managed to make up for lost time quite well. In general, we can say that we worked confidently that weekend, and in Suzuka, the goal is to take the next step forward.

After the tests and two Grands Prix, I have fully regained my form, everything is going well, all the previous natural feelings are returning, including my neck muscles gradually getting used to the loads, plus our car isn't going that fast yet! (laughs) So in that regard, everything is good too!"
