Throughout his career, Max has been overtaking and winning; now he misses that. But recently he drove a Super GT car in pouring rain at Fuji. I drove those cars myself in 2018 and 2019 – they are incredibly good. He can try everything possible, and I think that’s really great!
I don’t think this will change his current attitude towards Formula 1. It will only change when he starts winning again. But other series will help him take a break – he still has the opportunity to win races there.”
