Lewis Hamilton: Drivers have no right to vote

Lewis Hamilton commented on the upcoming FIA meetings with Formula 1 teams and power unit manufacturers, where changes to the technical regulations will be discussed. The seven-time world champion doubts that the parties will be able to reach any decision and lamented that the opinions of drivers on such matters are not taken into account.

Lewis Hamilton: "When there are too many cooks in the kitchen, it usually doesn't lead to a good outcome. Drivers have no say, we are not in the committee and cannot influence anything.

I don't expect anything special from the upcoming meetings, but I hope that changes will be made. It is clear that the discussion will only be about certain aspects of power unit performance.

We largely rely on the Mercedes engine, but we don't know what their advantage is – in the turbo, in the engine itself, or something else. We need to figure everything out for ourselves and work harder."
