The next stage of reconstruction has begun in Albert Park.

Exactly as planned, the next stage of the large-scale reconstruction of the track in Albert Park has begun in Melbourne. After the archaeological and environmental assessment of the surrounding area, the demolition of the building, which housed team garages during the Grand Prix since 1995, has started. A new modern complex, including garages, a race control center, guest areas, and a press center, complemented by seven indoor sports facilities, cafes, and restaurants, is expected to be ready for the Australian Grand Prix in 2028, while new garages and a temporary Paddock Club facility will be built for the 2027 event.
