Zak Brown drove cars from his collection.
Zak Brown and Richard Dean, co-owners of the United Autosports team, recently enjoyed driving historic cars from the personal collection of the executive director of McLaren Racing. Races took place in northern Spain at the modern Circuito de Navarra, which has a lap length of 4313 meters and typically hosts GT races. Apparently, Brown and Dean are preparing for another season in historic racing, and on the Navarra track, they took turns driving the Jaguar XJR-9 sports prototype, the Lola T87, which Mario Andretti raced in IndyCar in 1987, and the Lotus 69 – which Emerson Fittipaldi raced in Formula 2 in 1970. However, they also had access to quite modern sports cars like the Ferrari 458 GTE and McLaren MP4-12C GT3.
"I had a wonderful day at Circuit de Navarra with United Autosports. This track is perfect for pushing historic cars to their limits!" commented Zak Brown on his social media pages.
