Sofia Flörsch will continue her career in Formula E.

      Sofia Flörsch, a native of Munich, will continue her racing career in the electric Formula E. The Opel team has signed her as a test driver and development driver.

      Flörsch will make her public debut in Opel colors during the presentation of the new generation GEN4 series car, which will take place in Le Castellet on April 21-22. Sofia has already had the chance to test the new model on the simulator.

      Sofia Flörsch: "The GEN4 cars are true representatives of racing elite – over 800 hp, all-wheel drive, and incredible speed. I am looking forward to working with the engineers to understand this car and get the most out of it. Together, we want to show what true teamwork is capable of, achieve sporting success, and win the hearts of motorsport fans for Opel and Formula E."

      Since 2020, Sofia Flörsch has tried her hand in various racing series – from Formula 3 and DTM to competing in the "24 Hours of Le Mans" in the LMP2 class. In 2025, Flörsch attempted to start a career in the American Indy NXT but only participated in one race and has not raced since.
