Verstappen supported Lambias and intends to stay.
Max Verstappen does not plan to leave Red Bull Racing in the foreseeable future. The British tabloid Daily Mail, citing its sources within the team, reports that the four-time world champion will not prematurely end the 2026 season, although he is not thrilled about the new technical regulations. Moreover, Max is considering the possibility of continuing to race for the Milton Keynes team in 2027 to show loyalty to the team that helped him build a successful career. Additionally, Verstappen reacted positively to the decision of his race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase to accept an offer from McLaren. "GP was offered a fortune to make the switch, and you can understand him," the newspaper quotes a source at Red Bull Racing who requested to remain anonymous. "Max had no objections. On the contrary – he supported GP and his decision."
