The Red Bull car was seen in... the Madrid metro.
The Red Bull car appeared yesterday in... the Madrid metro. However, of course, it wasn't a new one, but one of those used for demonstration events, but it's still quite an unusual piece of news. Although Red Bull often surprises fans by sending Formula 1 cars to the most unexpected places on the planet and filming impressive videos featuring their drivers.
These cars had not been seen in the metro until yesterday: as reported by the Spanish press, the appearance of such a vehicle in the Madrid metro attracted a lot of attention, as the sight was indeed quite astonishing.
These images quickly spread across social media, showing Red Bull employees along with the staff of the Madrid metro placing a racing car on the tracks, and instead of the usual wheels, it has special discs that allow it to run on such tracks.
This took place on Line 7 of the metro in the Spanish capital at the "Metropolitano Stadium" station – this is the stadium of the Madrid football club "Atletico," which has business ties with both the local metro and the Red Bull company, as it is one of its official sponsors.
The newspaper Marca, reporting on this story, writes that it remains a mystery what all this meant; however, it is likely that the RB7, painted as if it were Max Verstappen's car, ended up in the capital's underground due to the filming of a commercial commissioned by MadRing, the racing circuit being built, where the Spanish Grand Prix will take place starting in 2026.
