60 minutes to the start: Fernando Alonso's comment
Fernando Alonso awaits the start with little optimism but hopes for changeable weather...
Fernando Alonso: "It would be better for us if the race takes place in changeable weather conditions. At the moment, the racing pace on a dry track is not high enough for us to contend for points, so we need something to happen ahead. Perhaps today, thanks to the rain, we will have opportunities, but even if we get lucky, the race will still be challenging.
We are currently working on a different program and following a different strategy than other teams, which is why we did not bring updates. Our priority is to address the engine reliability issues we identified at the beginning of the year. We are taking it one step at a time and hope that we have chosen the right direction."
